Analysis of Korean Nursing Research on Auricular Acupuncture and Ear Acupressure Therapy

Abstract

|
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the trends of analysis of Korean nursing research on Auricular Acupuncture and Ear Acupressure therapy.
Method: Seventy-one researches conducted from 1991 to 2010 were analyzed based on literatures reported with respect to fields of study, research design, measurement samples, acupressure points and efficacy by samples.
Results: There were 71unit national researches. Among them, oriental medicine and nursing account for 40(56.3£¥) and 22(31.0£¥), respectively. Of quasi-experimental research design used in the oriental studies that accounts for 34(47.9£¥), nursing acounts for 20(28.1£¥). True experimental research design was performed only by 4(5.6£¥). Saw the application object person of auricular acupuncture and ear acupressure at the non-smoking 13(18.3£¥) was most when in insomnia, menstrual colic, the stress, high blood-pressure, obesity, Musculoskeletal pain, headache, nausea/vomiting, drinking, anxiety, the research of the object became accomplished even if.
Conclusion: Hereafter repetition research and true experimental research design leads and the ground which is rational prepares and this ear acupressure therapy catches and as oriental medicine nursing arbitration the place is expects.
